First, my apologies to those of you who will see this message a zillion times, but we want to make sure we don't miss ANY Journey fan for this opportunity.

The Journey to the Hall of Fame team is putting together a newsletter that will keep fans updated on our progress in getting Journey into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and how you can help. Journey was a fun band in the late 1970s and up until the mid 1980s, but they don't deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If they did, then they already would have been nominated. This is not a case of a band being overlooked. Instead, the committee decided bands like Journey are/were popular at one time, but aren't good enough to be in the Hall of Fame. Finally, there are many other bands like Journey that were popular at one time, but aren't worthy of being inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Face it. The only way Journey is going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is if they buy their tickets.

If bands such as thr Pretenders, ZZ Top, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne et al can get in(all worthy too), then Journey should be a SLAM FUCKING DUNK.

If anything. the Hall probably hasn't put Journey in for that reason alone...they cannot stand Perry......

Face it. Journey is not going to be even nominated into the Hall of Fame, and all the bands/artists you mentioned above that are in the Hall of Fame deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. They made the decision not me.

Uh, again, many of those bands DO NOT deserve to be there, IF Journey isn't. I don't lose any sleep over the HOF. It is a joke, and all it is some newspaper hacks picking their favorite bands. If Duran Duran ever gets in, I WILL HANG MYSELF. Rest assured, getting into musics' HOF is not like getting into Baseballs.' Yes, they WILL be nominated eventually.

Yes they most certainly should. That's what fans do. They buy CD's, albums, tapes and concert tickets, shirts and jackets. Fans are what it SUPPOSED to be about, not some idiotic asshole in Cleveland, whose perception is clueless. Like Journey or not, one must salute their accomplishments.

No, Journey fans are going to have zero impact in their whining, sniveling, and browbeating the Hall of Fame Committee into nominating them. Journey fans can do all of the above you mentioned, yet they can't and won't browbeat the decision makers into nominating them. Just like Journey fans can't browbeat radio stations into playing their current material.

The committee has reviewed Journey's merits and have decided not to vote them into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame...again.
