If they're ever going to recapture the real magic of Styx they'd need Dennis DeYoung to produce the entire album and contribute more than 2 songs.
ItsMyLife wrote:No, although it would be an improvement it would basically be BNW Part II then.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks MLFTM sounds like a bad Genesis song?
One last thought, does anyone know if Dennis wrote all three of the new songs for his live album, including "Goodnight My Love"?

Incidentally it is called "Fields of the Brave"

Froy, there ARE opinions other than yours. And God put me here to point this out to you.

Horrendous.
When's the last time Tommy Shaw wrote a GREAT song? Damn Yankees first album
Adam wrote:"If it weren't for people like you eating up this second rate insignificant crap, we'd probably have the real thing right now."
That may be true. And judging from the fact that the band has not only endured, but contined tour rather successfully for over SIX FREAKIN YEARS I suppose the list of 'people like me' is rather humongous.
But then again, you can call me crazy.
When's the last time Tommy Shaw wrote a GREAT song? Damn Yankees first album.
Then you obviously don't really Styx all that much if you would rather have Gowan than DeYoung.
It's one thing to accept Gowan, another to prefer him.
