It looks like rock fans in general are very receptive to hearing songs they know and love redone by a band they grew up with.
I don't really think that Styx will make much of an impact nationally unless they can crack the Pop 100 singles chart. Then maybe it will translate into radio play and rotation on VH1.

Having that many songs chart means about as much as ranking #78 on Amazon. How is this figured? How often is the chart compiled? What percentage of the public does this represent?
Charting on the media base chart for classic rock is the baseball equivalent of leading the league in doubles on natural grass during solar eclipses on thursdays. If you subdivide long enough, EVERYONE charts eventually.
Let's see how the album and singles do on the Billboard charts. At least they are more scientific in their approach and have a long track record to back up their findings. Mediabase charts air play, thats it. It tells them the exposure they are getting at radio station. That's it. Amazon charts record sales and compares it to other records sales within the items they sell. That's it.
Still amazes me how many peeps want this album to fail and go out of their way to dismiss the music.
