I heard this! :)

From the News Section

STYX CD MAKES A BANG AT RETAIL:
For those interested, the Styx Big Bang Theory covers CD sold 18,828 units in the USA first week of release. Those are pretty good numbers and don't include European sales or some online sales. The number is the officially reported sales from Soundscan USA.

Froy, I didn’t know the numbers were out for the second week already. Could you please post them to backup your claim?
Thanks.

From STYXWORLD:

Any way, we're off to the races with "Big Bang Theory." We were a bit surprised by entering the Billboard Top 200 chart at #46, something we haven't done since I can recall, because honestly it's a different world out there for us than it was all those moons ago and we're more interested in the long haul. Still, we accept and we thank you for laying down that hard earned cash.

We'll recharge our batteries for a couple of days, then head out to see you all a couple of more times before jumping the pond for June. Not to worry, we have plans for a fall schedule we think you'll be very happy about.

I have NOT heard ' I Dont Need No Doctor' or Walrus since I heard them both last Saturday back to back on 93.7 in Houston.

If you didnt know different, and just happened to be radio searching you would swear that Gowan was the voice of and that Styx were from across the pond.

You cant read much into me NOT hearing anything off of Big Bang because Ive only listened to the radio for about a total of 10 minutes since Sunday.

My paragraph # 2 must REALLY give Froy and his mini me 'On A Steel Horse They Ride'( poor MR. Ed replaced by a steel horse) the major red ass.

Folks. Plain and simple. It is just too early to make any judgments.

They are out "selling" it now at every show. Give them, and it, some time.

JMO.

I could be wrong here but I believe they only released “I Don’t Need No Doctor” to radio as a single. All the other songs that were getting some air time were just radio station across the country deciding to play them as album cuts. I don’t listen to the radio much since I bought an iPod.

I doubt many of us here listen to much radio anymore. The majority of us have lamented how radio has gone. When I'm in my car I may catch a tune or two, but usually I'm surfing stations or listening to a cd. At home, the amount of time I listen to a radio...well it's miniscule at best.

I Don't Need No Doctor is the only single released since Walrus. (You can argue amongst yourself if you consider Walrus released from this album). All others were the choices of the radio stations.

Once again, Froy is making up his own facts.
