OT- XX hours until MJ's conviction

Postby classicstyxfan » Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:13 am

I am surprised the Jury has taken this long to convict ol' M.J. of what everyone knows he's been doing for at least a decade.........diddling little boys.

What do you suppose is taking them so long ?

How long will he live once his prison term begins ? I've heard inmates generally have a high level of disdain for child molesters...and famous people. I wonder how they will treat someone who is both ?

Perhaps he'll make some inmate very happy as a lovely bride ?

I was a prison guard up in Tennessee. Only did it for a year, hate it. But child molesters, rapists, are lowest of the low on the prison chain. So if there is a riot, they are killed. They are set up, and blamed for everything. They are slaves! Inmates will make an example of him.-ERIC

Michael is going to get off unfortunately. I think his defense successfully undermined the credibility of the accussers and many of the witnesses, plus many of the witnesses that the defense presented backfired.

Isn't that what got him in trouble in the 1st place ? The unfortunate part about it is that he's doing it at the expense of children.....he's one sick S.O.B.

maybe they're looking at the evidence presented and not the propaganda machine we hear on tv and radio.

Honestly, I aven't been following it much. If he's guilty then fry him. If it was made up, then fry the prosecuter.

If he loses, he can sue the Jackson Five. He can claim his skin condition doesn't allow him to tour any longer.

It's a pretty sick world if every allegation against MJ ( including the ones that he is NOT being tried for ) is false, and the guy has NEVER laid an inappropriate hand on a child.

The whole idea of having young children sleeping over in his bedroom, and having a "warning system" type alarm so he knew if someone was coming towards the bedroom seems to implicate him all by itself. Hell, he should have had videocameras going of everything that happened in that room to protect himself whenever kids were present.

If all of the prosecutions witnesses were lying and either wanted his money or had a grudge against him for some reason then he's made a lot of bad decisions/choices about who he associates with.......there's just too much there for it all to be explained away in my opinion.

All the defense has to do is establish reasonable doubt, and the parents' checkered history does that. He will be found not guilty, IMO. Maybe he can hang out with OJ after it is all over.

It's like where were you when JFK was assasinated! What he wants to do now is demolish Neverland and move out of the limelight for about ten years.........Thriller 2 awaits!

You know what ? 12 jurors who gave up a big chunk of their lives to sit through what must have been quite the ordeal said ( at minimum ) their was reasonable doubt in their minds.....I guess I have to have faith in our system of justice.

HOWEVER.......going forward, I think any parent who let's their young boy be alone with MJ after everything that has happened deserves some kind of punishment.

It may be true he isnt guilty of what they said he was IN THIS CASE, but mark my words, someday, just like with all of the Catholic Priests, one or more of his victims will step forward and tell the world what he did to them, and it won't endear old MJ to anyone.

What I can't get my head around is all those fans that stayed around the courtroom and gates - it's those people that need some kinda help, it's not natural, crying hysterically and shouting Michael we love you month after month!
My son is 11yrs and no way would we ever let him stay over, like some of those parents did - it's a starstruck thing and the thought of financial help at the end of rainbow.
We follow Styx, love their music and all that but I for one realise they're only people doing a job and a good one at that - when a concert by any group ends although excited, it's back to normal live.....I feel sorry for these people who can't drop back into normality. Forums like this are okay because we're all trying to find things out about the group, at least I don't think we're a bunch of lonely Styx fans with nothin' better to do.............ah well, back to the real world as my wife's shouting "Are you on that Melodic Site again, there's things to be done and I need some help getting your son ready for school"
36hrs to go to my first Styx Concert, it should be a blast!

Thanks, Zan - will do.
I read from Darren's post that Boat on the River was missing, that's a shame as the acoustic version of that sounded great on the DVD.

You're right Andrew, nothin' natural going on with the MJ face!

24 posts so I'll soon shed the NEWBIE title.........styx concert review tomorrow will take care of that! I hoping to get 7 Deadly Zens signed but it's no big deal if I don't......like I said I'm not Starstruck!!!

Styxman,

Actually once you cross 25 posts, your moniker changes to "Smeghead" until you reach 250 posts. :D Nah, just kidding. But that certainly would be a disappointment wouldn't it.

Have fun at the show.

I thought that was a kinda cool name until I found out what it meant!

"Smeg" is an abbreviation for "smegma". Smegma is defined as:

A sebaceous secretion, especially the cheesy secretion that collects under the prepuce or around the clit*ris.

If I get called that, I'm off Scott!
