Well, I had the pleasure of NOT seeing Neil in concert last night And I truly mean no offense when I say that; I just have never been able to get into the guy's music.

The concert was either sold out or close to a sell out. There were over 15,000 people at this concert, unbelievable!! I bought a ticket right before the show for $50.00 on the street and ended up in the 6th row - thanks to Froy's fast talking (thanks Froy) - LOL I was amazed at Neil's voice and performance.
I was thinking during the concert, if JY invited Dennis back into the band, I don't think they could ever sell 15,000 tickets, does anyone?
[/quote]The bottom line on this is that Neil Diamond is a legend...the Jewish Elvis. Neither Dennis nor Styx have ever been, and they will never be, comparable.

Red Red Wine (if it's a cover)

Maybe Neil needs to freshen his setlist up a bit then ????

Michael Jackson the ( sort of ) Black, Child molesting Elvis ???
You know at least half of those songs, you just need to hear them.
No they are not covers he wrote them
Ek88, you are special
I did not know that. My ignorance concerning Neil Diamond is exposed further
Just thought I would say there is hope for everyone.
Neil Diamond has released a new, back-to-basics album. It is getting 5 star reviews from every publication that has, in the past, dissed him as a Vegas-style hack.
Wow. Even Rolling Stone! (As if I care about THAT publication).
Just thought I would post this as I am a Diamond fan and am glad to see him get his due. Next -- Dennis DeYoung!!!
