I know, I love sports and I love to have fun betting and watching the games, great time. Anything can happen during the games at any timeAnd I couldn't make up my mind about the avitar. Which do you like?
OMG!!! I LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!! I'm SO jealous!!!! I love all of them and how they flash!!! Um, I'd really appreciate it if you could make one for me or if I can borrow, use, the one you have now, PLEASE?????
classicstyxfan wrote:Well, Dogsi, It didn't go my way today....as is life in the NFL, 1 or 2 plays went the other way, and my team came out on the short end of the stick. Say what you will, but that wasn't exactly one team dominating the other.......in fact, take away that Ill advised throw in the 4th quarter, and the oucome may have swung 14 points.
But the play did happen, and the better ( FOR THIS YEAR ANYWAYS ) team won........
Nonetheless, I stand with my head held high, as I am a fan of the Greatest Franchise in all of NFL History, The Green Bay Packers....even during times when we are re-tooling for our next Dynasty. Make no mistake about it, The PACK will be BACK !!!

Packers will fire their coach after the season and Favre will retire so he doesn't have to start over with a new coaching staff. Take that to the bank. There will be no dynasty in GB for a loooooong time. Can you say "REBUILDING"?
SuiteMadameBlue wrote:I'm thinking they'll fire Sherman after the season. BUT I don't think Favre will retire. Who would want to retire from a crappy season? He'll keep going at least for another year.
sadie65 wrote:Watching him clown around with the guys at the bar, and seeing him take that fist (hearing it from a good 15 feet away in a noisy bar)...that sound was horrid. But I will give the man his props...he finished his game and was more concerned with how the other guy was.
SuiteMadameBlue wrote:I know, I've read them. They keep talking about it in the news all the time, but I still don't think that he'll retire even if Sherman goes. How can he on such a lousy season? Wouldn't you want to leave on a high note?
All our top news stories here is about Favre and the Packers. His Mom along with Connie Payton will be signing books at a book store tonight by my house. I might stop by and pick up a few books.
How was the other guy?
What if his high notes are over? What if it just keeps going down hill from here?
(sorry, my nature to play the devil's advocate. )

SuiteMadameBlue wrote:Very funny signature DeeJay - LOL I couldn't wait to see it!!
OMG, TOO FUNNY, I watched the Sunday's game down in Illinois in a bar/restaurant that the Bears players go to - LOL I walked in with my Packers sweatshirt on and the fun started there. GREAT time, even though the Packers lost!!

Brett Favre was nursing several injuries in the wake of their week 13 loss in Chicago. Favre's two biggest concerns are a bruised right forearm and a cut on his right hand that he suffered when he hit his hand on the helmet of Bears defensive end Alex Brown. He also has a nasty blister on his left foot, plus he also took a shot to the ribs, a kick to the right shin, and had his head bounced off the turf in the Bears game, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.

It does say it all, however, I am ashamed of my town for it's behavior over this game. I am certainly no fan of the Pack, but I don't condone cheering over another player's injuries, nor do I advocate hassling fans of opposing teams. Hangs head in shame...slinks away....

Doesn't it, though? I am not a Bears fan, but that defense is impressive. Maybe they could stop the Colts in the SB?

You think that's bad, Sadie? My town (Baltimore) cheered in the first game this season when OUR OWN QB went down with an injury!
