It is the 2nd part of the statement that I challenged.
Yes, you gave props to the Chargers for their pass rush......But the Chargers proved that the Colts can be beaten, and provided the blueprint for other teams to follow. The Colts also have yet to prove they can win the big game.......they could be the next Buffalo Bills, time will tell.
ON PAPER you can give the Colts this years Lombardi Trophy, just as they had Super Bowl III won on paper.....and we all know how that turned out ! It also happened to my team in SB XXXII....as I recall, you could count the pundits who said Denver could beat Favre & Company in that game on the fingers of one hand, yet, Elway & Company showed up and won the game anyway.
It's what I love about the NFL ! That's why they play the games.

I think it's going to depend on who the coach is if Favre's going to return. I hope he stays for at least one more year

And what do you base this on? I think he is a clown.

The Vikings finished 9-7 and they still fired him.

I think Haslet is a perfect fit for GB, and according to sources, has the inside track....
The key question is do the Packers really want Favre back? I don't think they really do...We will see the answer to that in who they hire. Hell, if the club doesn't consult Favre, then it's over too.
I think Brett has about a week to make up his mind..He can't leave the club hanging like this..Brett is a good guy, a really solid guy...He will do what's right for himself AND the club..You have a classy guy, and a classy organization..It will work out..

ACK, I didn't see the Panthers going anywhere far, sorry.
That's okay, there's still room on the bandwagon (patting seat next to me )

Panthers V Steelers final would divide this house...lol
Ime not a Steelers fan I just bet on them ....my loyalties lie firmly with my beloved Cleveland Browns...

Darren,
Looks like two wins away from the divided house.
My wife has assured me that although she was born in Pittsburgh, her loyalties are now with the Panthers. I was born in Chicago, but had no trouble whatsoever rooting on the Panthers today.
Suite is already on board, but there is still room in the back on the bandwagon.
