Another thing JSS brings to the table is an international audience.

I have not seen ONE person who likes you.
You have ZERO cred......Zero.
At least I report the truth.

Journey CAN make waves now..
I love this lineup. THIS lineup is the shit.

Deano,
You once said that Jon didn't want JSS in the band...taking over..."dirty" lyrics...how do you see the chemistry now? Is Jon wholeheartedly behind JSS?

What I like most about Monker is his consistency. I've learned quite a bit from his posts over the years and he doesn't have to throw crap around to get his point across. Even when he and I were complete opposite sides of the fence (the days when I was pretty much Perry only), he often made sense to me.
I know some people think that Monker thinks he's god, but I don't get that impression from him. He simply states what he wants to state and moves on. Take it or leave it; he doesn't care.

Rockn'deano wrote:What if you were thirsty and all you had was Diet Ginger Ale..then you got so fuckin thirsty you had to drink it or die...then you started liking it....a lot. Then you became all happy and shit...."Hey, Diet Ginger Ale isn't bad, in fact, it kicks my ass!"
Analogy for ya.

What kind of crap is that? I spose if a person drinks their own piss enough, they'll like that too? Is that what Journey is hoping for this time around, that no matter what it sounds like that people will buy into it? What a bunch of crap.
IMO, what Jonathan thinks doesn't matter. He doesn't seem much into writing new songs anymore anyway. Who cares? He contributed to EVERY song from Escape thru ROR...Now he hardly contrubes at all.

Then why's he still in the freakin' band?

Didn't Deano say at one point that he was on his way out? Or has that tack changed now? Deano, calling Deano...

Saint John wrote:Duh...that's easy. To tour and make millions of dollars. And by the way, it was a question.

NEVER said that...
JourneyRox wrote:Good point here. There seemed to be some excitement when they wrote Arrival. Maybe becos they still had a label tho?
Red13 was a chance they took which didn't fly.
Generations, I dont know what that was supposed to be really.
But I think the toll of Augeri's vocal issues wore on them. Maybe w/out that issue, they can focus on writing. And JSS can write so it brings new energy.
Monker wrote:True, and if JSS is the new singer for the next album, they'll probably have an album out next year. But, I doubt it will be on a label. SS couldn't get a label, why would Journey?

Very good point here Monker. Journey won't get a label again. They won't have a Top 100 hit again either. Not even on the A/C charts. Anyone who thinks they will is dreaming.

Then that's just sad. He's perpetuating something he doesn't at all believe in, if so, and being greedy all the way.
