Could Journey today have a hit with a song like "photograph"?

I think the Mighty Rearranger songs are far superior to the 80's stuff, with the exception of the Pics @ 11 material, which were Zeppelinesque.

Some new arrangements to those older songs will also help to shake things up a bit and will probably be welcomed by neutral fans, but unfortunately may disappoint some Perry die-hards. But in my opinion it's the only way to prove Journey still has relevance beyond it's back catalogue.

I can see it now...
6 months down the road, maybe in the UK, Jeff''s onstage, Stone In Love is winding down...
Jeff comes front stage:
"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY, WE'RE GONNA DO A BRAND NEW TUNE OFF OUR SOON-TO-BE RELEASED OPUS 'insert album title here'... SO STAND UP, GET THEM OFFICIAL JOURNEY PIDDLE PACKS OUT AND ENJOY THE RIDE!"

Somehow I believe that's something Jeff could say & get away with saying. (Augie never could.)

I like what he does...In his 3+ hour setlist, the ONLY song that gets played nightly is Born to Run. other than that, he gives the band a NEW setlist 2.5 hours before going on. Keeps them on their toes and keeps the band and tour fresh.

I remember reading somewhere about Billy Squire only playing his new CD. No classic hit's, the crowd almost rioted as he walked of the stage. Basically said "F.U" to everyone in attendance.
