Calling me a liberal is like calling you a right-winger. I don't think people should use abortion as birth control. I never have thought that and if you had asked instead of assume my feelings, you would have found that out. It's obvious that you have never had someone close to you have to make that decision, if you ever have, make sure you listen. It might surprise you.

The reason I brought up clinics is that it's religious extremism, on both ends. Muslims want to spread Islam around the world, Christians want all to live under the word of God. It's a crazy world we live in. Kind of a Grand Illusion.

If I was married to someone who got raped and got pregnant, I would know (through my faith) that this baby had a purpose no matter who its father was. Its not the baby's fault that the rape occured. It should not have to pay the price.

As far as being a vegetarian - surely you aren't equating the life of an animal with the life of a baby. A human child is a gift from god. An animal is god's gift to us - as food. Surely you aren't going to get all greepeace, are you. Animals are here for US. We are the ones created in "his own image".

If you check the thread - it was not me who made this conversation about abortion. I actually held out as long as I could. Why don't you read through the thread before you make accusations like this. I didn't even bring up politics until someone said "Hey Shane, Bush sucks" which had NOTHING to do with what I had originally posted. Abortion was brought up some time after that - and not by me. This is typical though. It was DEFINITELY the conservative who stirred the pot - even though it was all of you who brought it up. Its okay - I'm used to getting accused of all sorts of things for not being "politically correct".

I think its funny that the "some people" you refer to think that I am here to "stir the pot" becuase I have cited reasonable conservative beliefs in RESPONSE to other people - yet the guy who started that "Hey George Bush" thread is NOT seen as stirring the pot. A slant perhaps?

I have been dealing with depression and agoraphobia for a while and haven't been able to do what I used to do. Eventually, I will be back doing what I love.

OK....the FETUS was 21 weeks old when this happened, if i'm not mistaken abortions are performed before it is called a fetus (Around 12th week) until then it's called an embryo
