You're not that far off....Bush's actions over the past 8 years has really forced globalism in ways that no one could have ever predicted. Thank goodness, it was Bush pushing this...because I think most of the world knee jerked at the idea of globally converging with a dumb shit like George Dubya Bush behind the wheel.
For one to see just how much Bush's tactics have failed, all one has to do is look at Rudy Guliani's campaign. His tv ads prior to him bowing out, were the most insulting, fear mongering bullshit you'd ever see. Basically, "vote for me if you dont want more terrorism!" The guy was basically carrying on Bush's torch and that's exactly the reason why he was among the first to get thrust from this campaign, although 1-3 years ago, he was a favorite.
I'm thankful that Bush's basic presidency is an utter failure, because it seems to have pulled back the globalist push. Both Hillary and Obama are stressing a little more country unification....and that's a good thing. McCain, on the other hand, is still trying to figure out how to stop his voice from sounding like Ronald Reagan.
