Jesus, the guy seems like he has as much foot-in-mouth disease as Dubya. How this fucking guy got into public office is beyond me....how the fuck will people justify pulling the lever for this dipshit is beyond me?

Obaba is someone we are just getting to know, but I like his talk and I like his demeanor and I like his freshness.

McCain is seen as just another waaay old fart that would carry on the mantre of the current administration, which is pretty much hated by all.

That's pretty much the way some of us here just a few hundred miles from Washington DC, USA see it too.

Stop bitching. You already have a guy who thinks he runs the world and there is plenty of arguing going on.

The world is important. We aren't the only ones who live in it. You close minded cons need to understand that the US does not rule the world. They drive it, yes, but do not rule it.

I'm not bitching. I'm saying what I feel. There are no decent choices and it pisses me off. We are headed toward a one world order. That's not mere words of a crazy person either.

Nooooooooo thank you!

The very thought of someone like Bush buying his way into power to govern over me gives me chills. His administration had enough pull over the previous goverment of Australia as it was - and not many liked that (hence their removal!)

Amazing how the truth can be seen so clearly from a distance isn't it?

Andrew I'm not talking about President Bush. They're all in it together. If you think it's just Bush, you're mistaken.

Yep...I heard it and posted it in this very thread! That might be the absolute most idiotic thing that a presidential candidate has ever said! As I said, McCain's only votes will be "The White Guy" vote! I suspect this election will be an ENORMOUS landslide. This is one of the few elections of my lifetime that there is absolutely ZERO mystery to!

You're not that far off....Bush's actions over the past 8 years has really forced globalism in ways that no one could have ever predicted. Thank goodness, it was Bush pushing this...because I think most of the world knee jerked at the idea of globally converging with a dumb shit like George Dubya Bush behind the wheel.

For one to see just how much Bush's tactics have failed, all one has to do is look at Rudy Guliani's campaign. His tv ads prior to him bowing out, were the most insulting, fear mongering bullshit you'd ever see. Basically, "vote for me if you dont want more terrorism!" The guy was basically carrying on Bush's torch and that's exactly the reason why he was among the first to get thrust from this campaign, although 1-3 years ago, he was a favorite.

I'm thankful that Bush's basic presidency is an utter failure, because it seems to have pulled back the globalist push. Both Hillary and Obama are stressing a little more country unification....and that's a good thing. McCain, on the other hand, is still trying to figure out how to stop his voice from sounding like Ronald Reagan.

You're partly right. They're as in republicans/Neocons.

Bush is the puppet. Rumsfeld, Rove, Wolfowitz, Cheney, Murdoch from Fox News, and Rice are the one's who are in this together as you say. Their little game is coming unglued isn't it.

Hillary, Obama and Edwards aren't in this game you speak of. Hill or BO will not forge a New World Order.

Question. If the Dems are so great, what is Hillary's plan on immigration? I don't see neither side doing jack which stresses to me even more that they are both in it together.

The way I see it, YOUR party is in power. YOUR president wants some amnesty program and so does YOUR nominee.

Perhaps you should look into Hillary's official stance on issues you care about rather than ask me on MR? You have no plan to ever back her so why ask the question?

Obama is an extremely courageous man.

Jesus did McCain really say that? Here I was more or less banging his drum (except for the blackout he has had the past two years).

I have also heard he hired Rove and company. Is that true?

I know, what happened to McCain? Up until about two years ago, he seemed to be willing to disagree with Bush - and I respected him for it. Then all of a sudden he started rubber-stamping the Bush policies, and I thought to myself, "What the hell happened to McCain?" I lost a lot of respect for him when he caved on his willingness to disagree with the Republican Party elite.

I couldn't be sure to be honest. There is intense interst in the election, as we are all anticipating the end of Bush (isn't everyone). Right now we are just sitting back and watching this wacky process you guys go through.

Obama is a fresh new face, Clinton is well known, but I think the country as a whole will welcome either one of them.

I nearly said I think he means Osama Obama... :)

I, too, am worried about the potential redneck/hatred factor a la McVeigh or other anarchists from let's say the 60s. I really like Obama but that is the only thing that hangs at the back of my mind. I like his wife, too.

I've said for 8 yrs that Cheney was Bush's best life insurance.

But under the current circumstances I think an Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama ticket (especially with Pelosi as Speaker) would be a very wise choice for the good of this nation as well as the Administration itself.

It's not hyperbole. I don't trust any of them. Clinton, Obama, Bush, and McCain. IMO, there are no viable candidates. Just more of the same.

If you make this kind of a leading statement here, don't you think you should explain it here? If you didn't want to bring it up, you wouldn't have hinted at it in the first place.
