It's ok to remove Saddam, BUT.......

I guarantee you Clinton and his Administration would have been a helluva lot more competent than Shitheads.

Also, stop trying to weasel out of this. We were knee deep in shit in Afghanistan, and us leaving before the game was half over and going to Iraq and then compiling our problems with such an incompetent plan, or lack therof of one....I am just bewildered as to how anyone can support such bullshit.

LOL. Are you serious? Our plan all along to transform Iraq into a Democracy? That was the third stance they used I believe, when the first two went awry.

Are you seriously going to play the, "If Clinton had the balls to take out Saddam, he would have done it better" card?
Are you serious? The same administration that handled North Korea so brilliantly????

 We pulled our troops out of Afghanistan? Statements like that completely trash your credibility Dean. It's that emotional thing...the same reason you trashed Augeri as the lone gunman. Yet now you apologize. In other words you have BDS!!!

Curious.... Larry and Rick and the other fellow TX people. What are the numbers looking like in your areas for early voting? I bout fell outta my chair when they announced that over 800,000 had voted statewide in early votes. Set some sort of all time record.

I know in my little dem area (yeah folks, this big ass red state has a few VERY blue counties), we blew the record out of the water as far as early voting, with a hefty 8.9% being first time voters. Gotta love those lazy ass registered folk who've never used that power, yanno? Leave it to them to come out of the woodwork for the first time in 60 years JUST because we now have two minorities runnin against each other.

Here's one for the political analysts on the forum.... One prominent local political figure who was asked the question of who she would support actually stated, "I'd say Clinton, because the other one has one mark against him.... he's black."  Now here's the kicker, this political figure happens to be a mexican woman. And it seems that a whole lot of the hispanics (at least here this holds true) are supporting Clinton based upon the same line of thought (Obama is black, so we can't support him). It just seems damned odd to me... that mentality coming from folk who don't hesitate to jump on the "whoa is me because I'm part of a group that has been held back because of their color/race" bandwagon. My question is, is this same thing playing out across the country or is it just in small backwoods areas like mine?

Did some math, and looked at some INNER polling.

I believe TX is winnable, and I think OH is a win and I believe PA is a win.

Having said that, she will win KY, WV and some other states and it might go to a brokered convention.

Longshot? Yes. Doable= yes.

I will man up and take my lumps, but Hillary is a great woman, a courageous woman and she has my vote.

Hey, I stand with her to the end!

Legally, guns should be allowed to respectable and responsible citizens. If you want a firearm, simply wait 7 days. Is that too hard?

Well, I think the two left on the Dem ticket are smart, capable, and bright. I have NO problem with either of them, and I think Jon McCain deserves a shitload of respect. that guy is a great American. My hat tips to Mr, McCain. I prefer Hillary, then Obama then McCain, and I even thin Huckabee is a good Man.

These people are running to lead this nation folks. Give them all a listen. They deserve that much! Yes, all of them!

I was there when he announced it, and have been supporting him ever since. I think he is much less divisive and combative than Hillary is, and gives the Democratic Party a better chance of winning the White House in November. All the latest General Election polls show Obama winning against McCain, but Hillary losing against McCain.

I look forward to seeing Barack get a lot done for our country.

Ok, so Saddam, Uday, and Qusay are dead. Great. How many THOUSAND Americans are dead, in order to achieve THAT goal? LOL, the goal was to get bin Laden, so we half assed it there(Afghanistan), and went and started up a little hornet's nest where there were NO Al Qeida at the time, lost 3,000+ US soldiers, to get three people who were of NO harm to us, and turned Iraq into LOSING WAR, and a fucking mess.

Wrong.

The "goal" in Iraq was NOT to seek retribution for 9/11 but to PREVENT ANOTHER 9/11 FROM HAPPENING by stopping a vicious dictator of a country who was defying the UN and the rest of the world by harboring WMD's (or at least not being transparent about their whereabouts).

You "lefties" constantly get it WRONG.

Well they missed the target. Saddam was no threat to us at all. Going after him to stop terrorism would be like going after Boy George to stop people from acting gay. There are hundreds of thousands of terrorists around the world. If we're going to take out every evil dictator that abuses their citizens, we should start with China.

Bush is a fucking incompetent moron. Obama is going to have a lot of cleaning up to do after that dumbass cowboy. The entire world will rejoice when Bush is removed. I hope he is tried on war crimes and given the same sentence that he gave Saddam - because Bush is way more of an evil dictator than Saddam was.

Me too Lula! I really liked McCain up until about a year ago. As soon as he decided to run for president, he seemed to give up his moderate stance, stopped arguing with Bush, and began rubber-stamping all of the Bush policies. I thought to myself, "What the fuck happened to McCain? He lost his independent spirit." At that point I lost all respect for him. Then when Obama came along and started talking some common sense for a change, I jumped on the Obama bandwagon and have been there ever since.

How did people know Abraham Lincoln would be a good president? He had less political experience than any other president in history. But people knew he was a man of good judgement and intelligence because of his actions and what he had to say.

Obama is the same way. He was a constitutional professor before he ever ran for office. He has great common sense, good judgement, and is very intelligent. But what's even better is that he is a uniter and not a divider. He knows how to unite people for a common goal. Just look at how he has done this in his campaign. When is the last time we've had such a sweeping movement of people backing a presidential candidate like has happened with Obama? He's going to put the "united" back in the United States again.
