Sorry, but Kiss is a joke to me. Them before Styx? Journey? Cheap Trick?
Seriously stupid.
LordofDaRing wrote:I agree, but Genn and Paul would have to KISS Jan Wenner's ass and you know that ain't gonna happen...

My memory must be failing me, because I cant remember any of those bands having to do that........I keep trying to find my Steve Perry, Robin Zander, or Dennis DeYoung action figures and lunch boxes, but they are nowhere to be found

All three of those bands you listed opened up for KISS.
All three of those bands didn't reach the success that KISS has.
Those three bands you listed were mainly successful in the U.S. KISS is an internationally successful band.
KISS played to far more people in far more countries than those three bands.
KISS also influenced far more musicians than those three bands.

10 o.k. songs?
They've sold 100 million lps worldwide.
They're the American rock band with the most RIAA gold lp awards.
KISS was signed to Casablanca Records due to their music. Neil Bogart, who later found out that KISS wore makeup, tried to convince them to drop the makeup.
It's all about the music. Anything else is just icing on the cake.
