Anyway thinks don't look great for the south of chile and santiago, still is increasing the numbers of deaths, but still i think could be worse for the magnitude of this earthquake, like what happen to other countries not long ago..anyway any news i will post it here. Thanks to all of you again![]()

The quake struck after concert-goers had left South America's leading music festival in the coastal city of Vina del Mar, but it caught partiers leaving a disco.
"It was very bad. People were screaming. Some people were running, others appeared paralyzed. I was one of them," Julio Alvarez told Radio Cooperativa.

Wow, this is awful. So sad. I'm glad Carla is okay. I wonder how Maui Tom is faring preparing for the Tsunami hitting in Hawaii.
Wasn't this the festival Journey appeared at in 2008?

-Santiago Airport is closed for now
-There was also hughe weaves (15 meters) in Juan Fernandez island, some people is missing, is not a tsunami i think, but is direct consequence of the earthquake, still is not confirmed the number of deaths there![]()

i'm trying to understand this photo. did the upper deck hit the lower deck with so much impact as to make the cars bounce up in the air, then overturn? edit: i see that there is just a single deck over the ground. that makes this even more confusing.
glad you're ok, carla!

There are surfers who will live for these waves. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. Ever see the ending of the movie Point Break?
