I must say, part of the reason I am liking it has to do with a personal issue. Being a college student ready to graduate in 3 weeks or so, I can really relate. I have my big ideas dreams, but reality (especially the current job market) definitely changes things. I can't help but find it ironic that Styx releases this song at this exact time.
So I like it. Not their best song, but it eerily hits home with me at this time.
Its right up there with She Cares, Tommy has really sunk way low with this lame effort.
I see now that they are on this board reading everything that is said here,
When is STYX going to put out new music 3 weeks later poof they release a 7 Zens throw away and call it STYX music. Hey Tommy get your act together man your running on the STYX treadmill.
I agree that it's not their best. Totally. I'd much rather hear this than an album of remakes though, like their last album. It doesn't sound much like Styx, but it also doesn't sound like a typical Tommy Shaw tune. That doesn't mean it sucks. It means it's different. It IS strange that there's been such a distance between Cyclo and this and that they're not just exploding with new, more powerful songs. After all, that was a long time ago when that album came out.
I don't think it sucks. I like it. But I don't love it.
And I Believe in You still blows.
You kill me Just say the songs sucks already. I don't love it but I like it
That's almost impossible Either it's a kick ass tune or it sucks in my book
Everything current styx does sucks in your book
