Nickelback is one of the GREATEST rock bands of ANY era.

I saw Shinedown open for Rob Zombie and Godsmack. They were decent. Definitely not noteworthy though, and definitely NOT in the same league as even Godsmack. Let alone bands from an earlier era.

I love Shinedown, one of my favorite bands of "today". I don't mind Nickelback, however, I do have to giggle that I get mixed up with a couple of their songs because they sound the same

Only thing I don't like about Nickelback is the vocalist is trying too hard to have that 90s grunge sound that everyone emulated. Drives me nuts. However, I dig some of their songs.

Rush is a classic band. I went through a Rush phase for years. Loved them. After "Grace Under Pressure" though, they sounded too much like The Police. If I want The Police, I'll play The Police.

Having said that, I have Vapor Trails and it's a good one.
