Bert, can I ask why you need all the dates, venues and opening acts? Are you working on some kind of project of Styx or someone that was an opening act? I'm just curious :)
Mr JY Roboto wrote:Salem OR was July 9th. It was an okay show but without Tommy, it was just not the same. At the time, I didn't care for much of anything on the Edge album. After waiting for fricken ever, this is what Styx gave me? The RTP shows kicked ass above all the rest between 1983 and current.

I remember being disappointed it was summer, hot and no white t-shirts. However, near the end of the tour a white shirt was finally added with the album cover. I wanted it soooo bad but never got one, never even saw what it looked like until recently. I have the other shirts from the Edge tour, still in good shape too!

Audio Mob opened the Tower show in Philly.

I was at the Tower Theater show. I remember it being one of the most hot, uncomfortable nights I've experienced (it was late May, must have been a heat wave), but the show was great, and sold out. I also saw the Mann show in Philly later in August. Outdoors, but I was under the roof near the stage. The only 2 Styx shows I was ever at, unfortunately.

Yes, I remember the Tower being a really hot & sweaty night. But my buddy, Ed, and I were just happy to be there.

Don't recall any "Spinal Tap" moments at that show, no. I remember really being impressed with the setlist and thought the band was the best sounding I'd ever heard them. Much better than at the Spectrum, where I'd seen them in the past. My buddy, Ed, was also very satisfied with his first Styx show. He really liked World Tonight and thought it was a pretty cool song.
