Survivor have had 18 songs make it into the "Hot 100" to Toto's 12.
Both bands have had a #1 song, and a #2 song on the charts. Although, EOTT was a much bigger #1 than Africa was.
Survivor have had 5 top-10 hits to Toto's 3.
Both bands have had 8 top-40 hits.
To this day I still hear Survivor's "Eye Of The Tiger" "The Search Is Over" "High On You" "Is This Love" and "I Can't Hold Back" on the radio on a regular basis. To this day I hear Toto's "Africa" "Rosanna" and "Hold The Line" on the radio on a regular basis.
I know that Jimi did not sing all of Survivor's hits, including the biggest one of all. But Bobby Kimball didn't sing all of the Toto hits either.
I remember that back in 1993 Survivor and Toto toured together for a while. And from what I heard, they were co-headliners, taking turns going on first and last.
