I was expecting to see Froy telling us all that Styx would not last much longer like he did in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 etc etc but he is nowhere to be seen, Is Froy now Toph or is Toph his and DDY's love child ?.
Where is Froy ?
Oh and DDY fans cannot be too upset at least he gets to keep his name

As well as the publishing rights and royalties to all the songs he wrote in Styx. As a DDY fan, I wouldn't want Dennis to have the sole ownership to the Styx name. It belonged to all of them. It was their contributions together that made Styx what it was. I don't think Dennis was ever looking to own the Styx name, more so protect his rights as a co owner of that name and what was being done with it. That comment by Brusco just shows what an ass he is. It appears he has no respect for Dennis' part in the legacy of the band.
And part of the take of every single tour.
That's never been confirmed as far as I know.

Maybe she means that he gets royalties cuz Styx plays his songs? Perry was getting paid as a 6th member of Journey while Augeri was in the band. Ludicrous.
She?
Uh...no. And, yes, Dennis does get a piece every time they play - just like Perry. I know this for a fact, but even if you didn't, think about it. Why would Dennis walk away from a lawsuit that on the surface shows he didn't win anything except to call himself (The Music of Styx or Formerly of Styx)? He'd go to court to let a judge hear it vs. settling out of court. What made him decide to stop pursuing it? Oh...yeah....he gets a share of the concert proceeds because he did so much to create the brand name Styx. My understanding was that the Perry and DeYoung agreements were quite similar. Except that I think Perry play much more of a role in the back catalog releases than Dennis. I think Dennis is not involved in anything Styx at all at this point, while Perry has been involved in the remastering of GH2 and DVDs, etc.
Maybe he 'walked away' from the lawsuit simply because he knew he couldn't win.
He doesn't get a share of the "concert proceeds". He gets a share of the merchandise sales and anything else that has his image or voice on it. That's what he sued for in first place so Styx gave it to him. It moved from going to "summary judgement" (where the judge makes a decision right away with the evidence given at that point) to settling out of court.
Journey and Perry made a deal...Journey was able to move on without Perry, and get the BTM with his participation...and Perry got the "sixth member" deal and the "gag order" from the rest of the band...and no going to court.
The remasters have NOTHING to do with this fight. These are SONY projects...So, they bring in Perry to work on them...and they also ask Neal and Jonathan for advice as well. Big deal. Dennis isn't involved in Styx releases because Universal hasn't had any big Styx releases. The various things that have been released are on small generic labels that do not spend as much time, effort and money on them as Sony did on Journey.
If there was any such deal with Styx, then Styx got something out of it...as Journey did, sorta. If they give Dennis concert revenue, what do they get? They were already in court, Dennis was already out of the band....So, what else did Dennis give Styx to get them to settle.
Styx had the upper hand in this - not Dennis. I think Styx gave him what he wanted...merchandise sales...and legally Dennis had nothing else that he could sue for so he settled.
The evidence of this is sitting right in front of your whining face. Why do you think they made concert shirts without Dennis and with Gowan? Why do you think they would rather push Regeneration, CYO and not PO8/GI then the back catalog? Because they do not have to 'write a check' to Dennis because his image and voice is not attached. But, if they sell a POE or GI CD or a Paradise DVD or a 'vintage' t-shirt...Dennis gets part of that merchandise $'s...that is what he sued for because Styx wasn't paying it.
