I don't really want to say where I heard it from, but it's no secret and the source I got it from I'm sure doesn't mind me telling people. Also - it's listed as that title on Wikipedia, AND Joseph Williams has been wearing a hat with the "XIV" logo on it.
Read into that what you will.St.George wrote:How do you know it IS going to be called TOTO XIV? This hasn't been confirmed anywhere.

Oh if only I could tell you...IF ONLY. I will say this: It ain't much of a secret bro...St.George wrote:Something like this would only would make sense in Chicago, where all their previous albums have been numbered, but not in TOTO.
So... what were Toto's fourth and seventh albums called again?St.George wrote:Anyway, if this was the case it would be a pretty lame, pointless and ridiculous title, IMO.
ChickenStu wrote:Why? Who cares what it's called as long as it's good?
St.George wrote:PS.- Regarding Joe's hat, IMO that's only some kind of an "emblem" to show some enthusiasm and hype about the new album. That's it.

I'm not a big fan of it personally, but being a Chicago fan as well, XIV is a 'bad omen' as that was the album that represented a massive low point in that band's carreer ... no hit singles, not in the top forty, not gold or platinum ... after decade of hit albums and singles.

Hey - I like plenty of their post mid-70s stuff. No need to act as though your personal opinions are facts.
