That’s hilarious. This board was a swap of RWNJs and their daily posts of loony websites and bile.

He is absolutely correct.
Most mainstream media here leans to the left and promotes progressive ideas. This includes most sports talk
Radio as well. College campuses will not even allow conservative guest speakers. Of course the big exception
Is Fox News, but even there it seems to be changing somewhat. In Hollywood it is a career killer to promote
Conservative ideas so most stay silent. This holds true for employees of the major tech companies as well.
I believe balance and open discussion of all ideas without fear of reprisal is the best approach.
That’s simply not the case right now.

The latest defense came out Friday evening, when the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a statement from an unidentified spokesman stating that information provided by NOAA and the National Hurricane Center to the president had demonstrated that “tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama.” The advisories were dated from last Wednesday, Aug. 28, through Monday, the statement read.

The statement also said the Birmingham NWS tweet Sunday morning “spoke in absolute terms that were inconsistent with probabilities from the best forecast products available at the time.”

This is just embarrassing and shameful. NOAA is headed by two Drumpf flunkies and goes against everything and everyone else to achieve a political point - the president is not a moron. Except the rest of the world has already made that judgement and moved on.

Ah, so I should have moved on instead of proving a point.

The ever present conundrum remains! How do you support a president who is completely unhinged?

own amusement, so lets keep you amused shall we?

President Trump wants the Chinese 2 to stop stealing our intellectual property. (horrifying I know)

President Trump wants the Southern border protected from people illegally entering our country ( disgraceful!)

President Trump want Russia to abide by the treaty they signed ( what gall)

President Trump wants NATO to pay there fair share for their protection (2% gdp) yeah he is really of the rails...

Oh but what about him drawing on a map .....yeah whatever...

And when it's new, it new. That was a pretty sad headline to read when it was first sprung. Not sure what you do on a daily basis, but I saw it while I was working, hence my comment. Take a chill pill, Miller.

Except it was anything but. There are only a few of us who even bother with this thread (myself mainly for laughs, to see what you and RPM and Memorex are saying), and that doesn't qualify as "spreading" anything. You must be a really popular guy in your bullpen.

When a guy holds the highest office in the land, nothing "deserves" to be excused. That's why he, like his predecessors, are under the utmost scrutiny.

So many excuses....
First, the fake news story was fresh out of the DiGiorno box or whatever.
Now you are saying you were using MR forums while busy on the clock.
Either way, you still spread fake news and let it linger.

verslibre wrote:Except it was anything but. There are only a few of us who even bother with this thread (myself mainly for laughs, to see what you and RPM and Memorex are saying), and that doesn't qualify as "spreading" anything. You must be a really popular guy in your bullpen.

Now you are giving your own twist on the 'tree fell in the woods" adage.
YES, if you spread fake news on a dead forum, it still qualifies as spreading fake news.

verslibre wrote:When a guy holds the highest office in the land, nothing "deserves" to be excused. That's why he, like his predecessors, are under the utmost scrutiny.

Made up stories are not the same as scrutiny.

More relevant than ever.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

He's not unhinged and if you'd pull away from the news media trying to get you to believe that, maybe you could see it. He's just a guy doing the job and he's for sure unconventional and has some personality issues, but unhinged is not a correct description. He's a lot more purposeful than you think. Some of the things he does and says are meant to draw the media in to show that they have an agenda.

Why don't you maybe question the politicians that you do support as to why they carried a particular position for 30 years and only changed it when Donald Trump had the same position? Maybe focus on that for a bit.

They had no problem commencing impeachment proceedings for Bill, for "lying under oath" and "obstruction of justice."

I wonder what's taking so long with the new guy...

He would have had to of lied under oath or obstruct justice, I guess. And since that has not occurred, the appetite, even among Democrats for impeachment is very low. They ought to just find someone with some policies they agree with and try to win an election.

They must not feel they can win an election and they are probably correct. Biden is toast .
Bernie has solid support except from the party itself. They sabotaged him last time and might again.
Warren has no chance. In the meantime President Trump keeps appointing more and more Federal
Judges, and more than likely will get another pick for the S.C. Those are the things the smart people
On the left are most concerned with . Not maps and sharpies and his exaggerations . All these judges
Will be there long after he is gone.

Tom Steyer's inclusion in the Democratic debates is pathetic. This guy represents astroturf pay-to-play politics at its worst. The DNC bars candidates with actual grassroots support,(like Mike Grave and Tulsi Gabbard), but let's this hedge fund billionaire asshole in?

It is baffling. Tulsi Gabbard is a rising star in the party, this guy is a nutcase. He does however raise a lot
