Aerosmith and Yungblud have a new single and Steven Tyler only sings the intro. Maybe that is what Journey could do. Perry could just sing the intro and Pineda can sing the rest of the song. Perry doesn't even have to meet with anybody in the band. Just sing his part in his own studio and send it over the band to be mixed with the recording. Easy for Perry! And it is possible the song could be a big hit. Okay. Maybe not big hit. Minor hit. Ummm Some people might listen to it.

Perry's voice is and has been more or less shot for a long time now.
But Journey have had great albums more recently than Arrival.

ADALBL wrote:Perry’s voice is NOT shot. Different than when he was younger, yes, but his vocals on the remake of Faithfully were excellent and that song was only 1/2 step down from the original key and the same key he sang it in on the FTLOSM tour. The man can still flat out sing and I look forward to his next record which I expect in 2026
